I live an hour away, I was gonna leave at 3 to arrive at 4 but my buddies are saying leave earlier as the traffic will be intense today with all the 9-11 stuff. Anyone leaving earlier then usual today?
my BUDDIES got to the stadium around 3 : 45 and said that security was CRAZY------they entered from Paterson Plank road and crawled in. Police are checking EVERY SINGLE CAR AND TRUCK ( as they should ) but the delays were / are unreal---they were unable to park where they usually do and are meeting up or supposed to meet up with other guys but that AINT GONNA happen today! IF you did not leave for the game yet I suggest you LEAVE NOW! I was also told that there will be a halftime show and that the concessions might actually be closed as they do not want anyone leaving their seats at halftime--we will see about that in a few hours--enjoy the game all whether you are there or at home and most of all be safe!!
Overall, was awful trying to get into the parking lot the other night. Anyone know if its going to be bad like that throughout the season from now on? Might have to start leaving an extra hour or so early for future games...

I left Merrick at 2:00 P.M. and got to the stadium at 3:15 ; made great time and my car was not checked at the throgs neck or the GW bridge ; there was a long line to get into the lot next to IZOD (26A) but no car check was done . I guess I got lucky .
