I know it's annoying when we ask if people have insider - but on espn.com it says Jets at stalemate with Abe situation.

Was wondering if it was anything new - or just the whole pick 31 vs pick 47 same old story....

I don't have it, but that story has been there since the beginning of the weekend, so I doubt it says anything we aren't already aware of.

    HERES THE STORY:

    Abraham focused on Falcons
<Mar. 20> Abraham has his mind "set" on playing for the Falcons, a source close to the defensive end told the New York Post, and has no intention of negotiating a contract with Seattle.
The Falcons have reached an agreement with Abraham on a multiyear contract, but the Jets rejected Atlanta's offer of a second-round pick. The deal with Atlanta would pay Abraham between $15 million and $18 million guaranteed.

Seattle, conversely, has finished the second half of the equation, but not the first. According to multiple reports, the Seahawks have agreed to send their first-round choice in this year's draft -- the 31st overall pick -- to the Jets for Abraham, but the three-time Pro Bowl pass rusher has resisted Seattle's advances on a long-term contract.

Because he is a franchise player and eligible for free agency in 2007, Abraham must come to contract terms with the team for which he would play. At the same time, the Jets don't want to give up Abraham without getting what they believe is fair compensation.

Abraham has also drawn interest from Denver, Cleveland and Detroit, but those teams appear to be out of the running at this stage.

I apologize if it didn't sound very clear

    1) I was thanking bleeding green
    2) on a separate note - the espn article was nonsense, provided no insight

thus all the thanks to bleeding green, all the blame to espn :)

I'll pay ESPN for that INSIDER stuff when I pay JI for theirs.... when hell freezes over. Why pay for info that one can get for free? SCAMS.... it's an internet infection that eats walls through you wallet.

We can just watch John Clayton and Chris Mortenson, ESPN's top "Insider" guys on ESPNews. They get it all wrong on live tv, why pay for it on the internet.
