anyone else have this problem in madden?

the jets suck in madden whenever i use them

 

I play 06, and love using the Jets....

IDK about 07, but I play almost the same way in the game as the Jets do in real life.......

I throw the ball up and let McCareins out muscle the defender for it on the in routes, I use the slants a ton, and try to get Coles lined up in mismatches to take advantage of his speed. The key is you have to take advantage of th eprecision passing.........

Of course, in year two Pennington has missed 13 games due to injury over the first two season's I've used him >__<

I'm about to give up on him and just let Rivers take over full time (he's my backup, pre breakout attributes)

i use penny for 5-10 yard passes,west cost offense and they updated the teams and cotchery is great
15catches 2tds 189 yards on live 83ovrll

 

the updated teams are much better... the jets are 86 i think... penny is good, cotch and rhodes much improved

 

Yeah, I agree... One of my favorite things to do is to catch the defense off guard by lining up with 4 WRs on 1st or 2nd down and sending whichever one is matched up with a LB deep... But Penny usually underthrows it so I can't take advantage of the matchup... It's really annoying... I made a fantasy draft team, and my QB is Vince Young, and that play goes for 40+ yards at least once or twice a game...

 

I find that if you do the second of the two passing training camp activities you can get Penny's arm strengh up a few points and it is much better

 

yeah i do the same thing im in year 3 with my jets on psp in fantasy draft and penny makes too much money so i traded him for andre dyson cause i needed a cb desperately i now use vince young 91ovrl with the new assistant coach pts but i win with my backs gore and bush

 

I play 07 for PS2, use no one but the jets, and chad always as QB.

You have to work around his low arm strength rating, and it's easy to do so.

1. NEVER, I repeat, NEVER throw a bomb without having him step into the throw or it will almost always be underthrown. Tap forward twice, then throw it, so chad can get 2 steps into his throws.

2. Run alot of screens and short routes.

3. Run curls, and ALWAYS use precision passing to throw them high, so only the reciever can get it. It won't get their quick, but if you do this, it won't be picked off. The majority of your passes, whatever type they may be, should be high so it's not an easy pick.

I'm currently 48-17 online, with 10 of those losses from random disconnect errors that charged me and my opponent losses. I only use the jets.

 

if you dont have xboxlive. then update the roster urself. thats what i did. I have Pennington rated 88 or 89 with 88 awr. 86 thp 94 thacc
