I am happy he is, but it is still a weird feeling. When you think of Favre you think of the Packers. Seeing Favre with the Jets hat on, shirt or just seeing Favre's name on a Jets jersey is weird to see. I can't be alone on this. I am sure most NFL fans feel the same, it is even more odd to see it when he is on my team. I don't know, it just looks weird.....
Yeah it is weird, and I don't think that will ever change. I think it's going to be even more weird the first time we see him play for the Jets.
I kind of think its weird. But that thought is usually cancelled out by how excited I am to have him on our team.
it's weird as hell....I didn't want any part of it but would be lying if I said I haven't gotten a little caught up in the hype just don't forget that this will be his 17th year and we'd be lucky to have it be even close to his last year with GB
Don't get me wrong, I am warming up to him being a Jet, but it is still weird. One of the reasons I am for it is it is getting the fans excited. People are believing in the Jets, I have not seen that for awhile.
Brett is a football player. Those are football uniforms with gaudy colors. He's changed the color of his uniform for a lot stupider reason than changing teams. The Packer throwback uniforms are much worse than the Titans throwback uniforms. He still looks pretty green to me...
Weird, for sure. I don't think I'm going to get a Favre jersey, he's a Packer, just playing here temporarily.
UH, YYYYYEEEEAAAAAAHHHH! As a former Packer fan, it's just plain bizarre! However, I'm so excited and enthusiastic to see him play and to see WHAT happens!!!!!!! "Don't bet against me," as Favre famously said the year he led the Pack to a SB win. Right now, he's a man with a mission, and that's all good for the Jets! Keep your fingers crossed and the heart meds close by, cause this could be one hell of a very WILD ride. :jets:

HI, Zippy here. This is my first post. I live about 60 miles south of Green Bay. I am a new member of the Jets juggernaut fan club! I need to get my post count up so I can start threads, so I will work on that. I am a teacher, and in the summer I teacher a summer school class for elementary students called "Packermania." On our field trip to Lambeau, I was interviewed by a New York Times reporter (Judy Battista I think), and there was a little article where I was quoted (July 18th). Boy, was I excited! I live in a VERY small town, and believe me, this was a big deal! Anyway, I thank you awesome Jets fans for treating my hero like he deserves to be. I thank you from the bottom of my heart! I will be a Jets fan long after Brett retires too. But I am still a Packer fan, but not of Thompson, McCarthy, or Murphy though. All the more reason for the Jets to kick ass! We can get those punks out of Green bay, pronto!
I know! One of y'all gave me a great run down on all of your players, and this team can really ROCK IT! I'm really excited to see how this season is going to play out. In fairness, it may take a while for all of it to gel, but the potential is there. :jets:
