So is this the future of video games? I'm not sure, but pretty damn clear this game is going to set some high standards for future developers. Amazing stuff.
I am hyped for this game as well as Assassins Creed for a while and have been trying to DL this game all morning
I guess I must have been one of the lucky ones, it took me about half an hour to get it. The first thing that struck me was the insane detail of the water in the pitch black of night, and the reflection of the fire all around. It looked like something out of a Pixar film. Genuinely creepy atmosphere, the voice acting was top notch, and the story... all I can say is that I was fully immersed in it right away. But the atmosphere is what sticks to you, the level of detail is insane, the posters, the picket signs, the newspaper clippings, the phonographs playings 50's era tunes. Very impressive stuff all around.
Just finished DL and playing. Just wow, this game is going to be great. the atmosphere is scary as hell (or im just a lil B#tch). The game looks better then Gears. I love the plasmid's, definitely a must buy in a week

This game looks insane, between this, Smackdown vs Raw 08, Madden and Halo 3 my 360 is going to be getting fired up.
Na i totally agree about the environment very spooky...was playin it in the dark :rofl2: the graphics are REALLY good. Looks like a winner and i'm not big on FPS.

This game is everything I thought it would be and more, it is so fricken intense. The environment is kickass. SO many great things about this game I cant even begin to start. I put a teddy bear on fire with my incinerate then I used my telekenesis to hurl it at someone.
Worth every penny. If you were ever thinking of getting surround sound to help your gaming experience this would be a great game for you to feel like it's money well spent. Remarkable AI, Excellent Story, Eye popping detail just oozing everywhere. This game certainly raises the bar.
I am one of those people that typically suffers from motion sickness when playing FPS. With that in mind I normally stay away from them. I gave this game a chance and do not get that feeling at all. Hopefully that feeling of motion sickness was the result of low frame rate or something. Anyway, this game may not be an evolution on the genre but it is certainly narrowing the gap between movies and games. Simply amazing production value.
So looking forward to this game, Gametraillers video review gave it 9.5, i always trust them. Probably getting it sometime next week with madden
