Just based on what I saw during the game and no medical background besides the various injuries I’ve had, I think he sprained his shoulder and wouldn’t expect to see him this week.
Just when I enjoyed watching one thing on Sundays, this team had to take it away. They want to suck all joy out of this sport for its fans. If they keep Gase on this team after Friday (assuming they look exactly the same), I don’t see a point in watching. I may just have missed the Kotite era but this has got to be the worst stretch we’ve had since.
Pretty heated exchange between notso and some other poster ( don’t remember who) the last time the political section got closed down. Notso took a ban and left but really should have been offsetting penalties.
MRI came back clean. He has an outside chance of playing Thursday but i feel they’ll rest him up for the mini bye.
Finally, some positive injury news for the Jets: Rookie LT Mekhi Becton (shoulder) did not suffer a serious injury yesterday, an MRI revealed, and he could play Thursday night against the Broncos. Initially, they feared a pectoral injury, which could've been devastating. He's now day-to-day, per Adam Gase, who said: "I know he's very motivated to get back out there. He kind of saw how the holes weren't quite opening up the same when he was out of the game." Rich Cimini, ESPN Staff Writer 2h ago
He needs to sit out Thursday and give the damaged tissue/muscles a chance to heal better to try and prevent a bigger injury. Of course Gase, coaching for his life, will play him, risk be damned.
Came here to post exactly this. Gase will throw him out there to save his job, and THAT'S when the season ending injury happens.
I'll say this.... I don't want him out there if he's not 100%.... And he likely wont be Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
Gase is putting him out there visibly hurt because his job is in the line. Also, Van Routen is god awful. 1 quarter in hes had multiple plays where he's guarded nobody
