Didn't want to bump one of the many Gholston threads with 1000+ replies. Excuse me if i should have. I don't intend for this to be another Anti-Ghost bashing thread (which i'm sure it will). Let me preface by saying I was never a Pro or Anti Ghost fan. I was giving the young man the benefit of the doubt and HOPING to see a glimmer of hope this season. Now, I barely see his number on the field (except on Special Teams). I can't recall the last time i saw #50 on a defensive play (even if it was just standing next to the pile w/ hands on hips). I know he had a hammy injury, but what happened to his play time? Specifically the past month. Is Rex finally giving up on this project. I know CPace is back, but you'd figure to see Ghost in on some 4-3 sets or something. I don't see him anywhere. Now I think i'm officially on the "disappointed" list of Jets fans regarding this pick:sad:. what a colossal mishap.
somebody should fire up a pool...predicting who trips and falls into the gatorade table first....Gholston or Clemens.
You would think that in this day and age, a guy couldn't make it that far up the draft as a pretender.
don't throw it away! He might one day return...I made that mistake with Coles, then I had to buy another Jersey when we got him back, now I've wasted my money twice
I regret getting on the Gholston train. He's become a total letdown. It's tough to deal with busts in the first round. Those sting badly. But Mangini made it up for it with Sanchez and Edwards. I think in the end we made out pretty damned good.
I saw him drinking some gatorade...and it was reported that the gatorade and the cup were disappointed with his performance as well.
I read he never actually drank the Gatorade, he dropped the bottle on the way to his mouth and then tripped and knocked himself out.
