I know it will be posted on the newyorkjets.com, but I caught the last few minutes of it live, and was wondering if anyone heard about David Harris' status. He alluded to it at the end, mentioning that he didn't expect Harris to practice tomorrow, but if he could "physically play on Saturday, he would". He also said Fowler his backup got a concussion, and so Kerwin Cummings would have to step up and play if Fowler couldn't.
true but i'm sure rex can get creative here...gholston certainly has the build, and i'm sure some packages could be created
true enough. but i'd imagine if the problem is the playbook, ILB is much more difficult to learn. most of the time as OLB, all he did was set the edge on runs and rush the passer/play the flat on passes. as ILB, he'd actually have to clog the right hole and cover passing lanes. call me crazy, but that's not something i can see him doing very well.
Yeah, I'm kidding. I don't want to see him out there, hoping Harris can go. I'd rather see Westerman than Gholston.
As mentioned above it's a sprain but Rex was just on 1050, and it sounds like he'll play. As long as he can do no further damage and just play with the pain. I had a sprain during a basketball season and just needed to rest for a week and then I could play(with pain), in a air cast thingy- I don't believe it's a bad sprain, so I'm counting him in
