I don't know what Rex told him at halftime, but what a game by Alcrotraz in the second half. After slipping and sliding in the first half, he looked like a shut down corner covering Moss.

Maybe Revis leaving the game motivated the defense a little more, but I hope Cro plays like this week and week out!

Simply put, Cromartie matches up better against taller, more physical receivers.

He cannot keep up with smaller, shiftier ones.

As good as Rex is, I feel like he has learned something about Cro today.

I was going to come on and post about him sucking in the first half. Suddenly he must have had the LT Game Genie code and started playing like a beast in the second half.

Cromartie had some great coverages on Moss in the second half, HOWEVER, there were passes that Brady blew where Cromartie was burned...

that said, no one excels at shutting Welker down in the slot...

...speaking of which what happened to Welker?

    He still scares

He looks so out of control in coverage

When you see Revis and even Wilson running with a guy, they seem so smooth

Cromartie looks like he doesn't even know what he's doing and he's just chasing the guy around

If it works for him tho and he makes plays, i'm not going to complain

Best adjustment we made. Our hand was forced, but still. Cromartie matches up against Moss about 10x better than against Welker. Moss isn't used to having DB's be as big as him and can't rely on his size. I'm pretty sure he practiced as if he were playing against Revis.

They threw downfield 4 times. 1 TD, 2 INTs and one overthrow. I'll take that every time.

He can not cover the quick receivers, he needs to stay on the taller recievers

Maybe he just put on a better pair o' cleats during the half. But man, that guy really has trouble changing directions. Kyle Wilson looked pretty kickass today, too. There might be hope for this secondary yet.

The running part is because he's a big guy who runs fast. He didn't play too well in the first 3 halfs of the season, but he did turn it up after.

With Revis out, the rest of the team stepped up big time. Hell, DREW COLEMAN made an awesome tackle. Maybe having him out for TC was a blessing in disguise: gave these guys real experience in game situations.

Seemed to relish the added responsibility after the half. Looks much better striding out. Tackling suspect.

Psht the only reason he scored is because we didn't set up or call time out.

I don't think it was a blessing in disguise, because his hamstring wouldn't be hurting.
