I never thought I'd see the day when a kid picked Rutgers over Ohio State and USC..... Ray Rice might be the happiest person in America right now.

If only this happened a few years ago, when Schiano started out. They'd probably have Dwayne Jarrett.

I just checked their incoming class and along with Davis they have 2 other 3 star OL coming in. Rutgers has all of a sudden turned into the early 90's version of Kansas State. It's not out of the realm of possibilty that this school is playing in a BCS game next season.

I'm excited for the Rutgers. This team actually got me watching College Football on somewhat of a regular basis.

Massive pickup for RU. Not only the fact that he's the best player in NJ, not that it was on national TV, but because this kid may actually make the 07 OL even better than the 06 line that was one of the best in the country. He should be starting at OG from day one, I imagine his sophomore year he may slide out to Left Tackle to replace Pedro Sosa once he graduates. They also received a committ from another solid OL yesterday, I think Richard Muldrow is his name, to go along with what they have, and are close with John Elliot from NY (no relation to Jumbo, believe it or not).

What I hope this does is help them land a RB or two for down the road to go along with Young once Rice gets to the NFL.

Yup. They were one dropped pass from playing in one this year, and probably winning it.
