    Buccaneers | Team signs Askew

    Scott Reynolds, of PewterReport.com, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed free agent FB B.J. Askew (Jets) to a multi-year deal. Terms of the deal were not available.

    Posted the other day, well, in the Jets section of the forums.

    To a multi-year deal? They really must like our players. They even have Hackett.

    Whatever though. Askew wasn't used much when he was here. I guess they didn't pay much attention, or care, about plays for the Full Backs in the play books. I think that should change. I think our next FB (who ever it may be) should be used more this coming season. Hopefully he is 'big', has speed, and can catch and block well.
