    Final lines from Charleston:

    Pavano: 3 IP 1 ER 5 H 0 BB 2 K (sat 91-92 MPH, dialed it up to 93-94 a couple of times)

    Hughes: 3.2 IP 0 ER 1 H 1 BB 5 K (sat 94-95 MPH, dialed it up to 96-97 frequently, hit 101 once... park officials say the gun isn't juiced... but come on.)

    I'm sure the 101 was wrong, but even if the gun is off by 2-3 MPH, it's still encouraging to see him back to pre-injury/mechanical flaw form.

    Just wondering, but could the morons here quit stereotyping all Mets fans because Cakes or davecrazy or JoeJet does some trolling? You don't see me referring to all Yankees fans as the same because of 51jetsfaninpa51 or rogerblaze or DROBCMARTIDIOT.


    Anyway, I was surprised to see Ponson actually pitched well.

    How am I wrong? Most met fans care more about Yankee losses than Met wins or at least they make it seem like that. You don't think any Mets used/still use performance enhancers?

    Is Reggie Willits inordinately hard to pitch to or something? 3rd straight walk in the number 9 spot. This one with 2 outs and noone on.
