he Cleveland Browns released former Pro Bowl quarterback Derek Anderson, the team announced Tuesday. The move comes just one day after the team acquired Seneca Wallace in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks.

I think Anderson sucks, and there's no reason Ainge or McConnell can't do what he did. I wouldn't mind a veteran backup, and if we didn't have four QB's, I'd consider him, but we have four QBs, and Anderson doesn't seem like a mentor. Not like he's ever been in the playoffs...

The guy is one of the worst decision makers ever at QB.

Anderson gets rattled at the slightest amount of pressure.

MB Green as for my post about Coles earlier I apologize to the rest--it was rumor and I was premature-----as for this thread and Anderson--I would take him over Clemens in a heartbeat!
ps no link needed for Andersons release it is on all websights and espn.

Anderson is trash, even Clemens is better than him IMO.

    No, he's not.

AN indication of how bad he is, is that Holmgren replaced him with Seneca Wallace.

To use an apt comparison of Anderson, lets use a runny wet fart. Anderson would be the runny part.

    Anderson went to a Probowl.....

I'm not a fan of Anderson's in the least.....but let's be reasonable here.
