It may be luck, it may not be. But we have been (knock on wood) relatively healthy the last 4 years since we hired head trainer Justin Galac. Every time you look up, their are different injuries around the league to some key people, but we've been able to keep many of our very key people pretty healthy. I think many people underestimate the importance of a high quality training staff, training facilities and medical staff. I feel as if we have one of the best in place based on the last few years of evidence. Probs.....I mean props to Justin Galac. As important as our coordinators in my opinion.
Now you jinxed it. Expect an injury bug this season. j/k. A very good point. I hope our luck continues like this.
Get ready for the inevitable bump in 2 months when the first player on the team goes down for the season. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
Was going to post about him. We were alright in the training dept right up until the moment he decided to trip that guy on the sideline.
I've always been torn on that. On one hand it's a terrible look and incredibly unprofessional. On the other hand, fuck the fins.
Sal never tripped anybody. He stood his ground while a Dolphin gunner ran downfield while out of bounds. That's why Sal formed the gauntlet in the first place. That one gunner had a rep of running down field out of bounds to avoid contact so Sal put an end to it. Players are to return to the field of play asap, not run 30-40 yards out of bounds to gain an advantage. Hail Sal!!!
As i read this post, i get this feeling as if you are a relative of his... Honestly, any pro athlete in any sport has access to the best training and medical staffs.. So as far as im comcerned its just a matter of luck (good/bad) in regards to who stays healthy and who doesnt... Onviously there are some outliers, With dee milliner being a poster child for those who just seem to regularly get hurt, and a Cal Ripken who is the polar opposite
Maybe, but a padded up NFLer was baring down on him and it's natural to turn and flinch a bit on impact. Sal never stuck his foot out, and the player was 3 yards out of bounds when he got 'tripped'.
He did stick out is leg. But it was the culture of that clown led team. It is going to be fun watching Rob and Rex implode in Buffalo this year. I bet they beat the Pats in Week 2, act like big mouth morons for a few weeks, and then start losing. I know Aloisi said he did it on his own, but that wall shit was directed by Ryan. That is the sort of stuff he is worried about, rather than X's and O's.
The gauntlet was built along an out of bounds area of the field no one is required to abandon to benefit an opposing players. The Miami gunner was surprised with the 'gauntlet' didn't jump out of his way, the way coaches he's played against had done every time before. Sal shut that shit down!
