Enough of the hardcore bashing on Sanchez. We get it. He was AWFUL today. Absolutely positively AWFUL. He sucked. No doubt about it, he sucked and looked like a rookie backup. Hell, since the Buffalo game he's been pretty bad and not really near where he needs to be to lead this team. Absolutely. But enough with the threads and shit talk and this and that. This isn't a "I'm tired of everyone ganging up on Mark," thread and I don't want it to be one because watching each game I'm highly critical on him and rightfully so, but do we really need these classless threads about "A Sanchez first?" Are you really nit-picking every little thing he does? Rooting for the guy to fail to prove a point? It's about the fucking New York Jets, our team who we want to win no matter what.. Or at least I know I do. The "Sanchez Sucks" threads are fine.. Everyone has different opinions, and some are warranted, some aren't. He's still the QB of our TEAM, the New York fucking Football Jets. He's still a member of this team. As much as I know most of you don't want him as our QB, which is fine, the senseless and nit-picking bashing is enough. Mocking "apologists" threads? Really? You people get off on the "I told you so" aspect of watching our QB fail? It's the same ones who point out every little thing that our QB does bad who fail to realize the shit around him and how shit the D is. Oh but we have a number one D, right? We have super Tone, right? They call us, Jets fans classless and obnoxious and I always disagree, but the threads are just annoying. No one else sees the other mistakes on our team? Mark sucked, I'm not saying he didn't and maybe he's not our answer at QB, maybe he's not our franchise QB, but there ARE other factors as to why our team sucks. This is one of the most anemic offenses this team has had in the longest time. Chaz Schillens, Clyde Gates, a rookie, and egotistical vet, and a 2nd year slot guy? An injured Keller, and ok backup in Cumberland, Epps? Our O-line? C'mon. Sparano? Un creative, one dimensional, need to use Tebow more, he's been awful the past few games. No protection for Mark to scratch his ass. Tanny? Ugh don't get me started.. Flame me, make fun of me, whatever, I'm a nobody, yeah. But understand what I'm saying. Marks sucked today the worst we've seen him, IMO in his 4 years as a Jet, Yes I agree. I was screaming at the TV. But to see threads that nit-pick on every move the guy makes is unnecessary and obnoxious. :drunk:
Good thread. While Sanchez isn't playing nearly as well as we expected he would, he is still trying his hardest and pouring his life in to this team. There's no need to personally attack him.
It feels like fans are happy the Jets are doing bad so they can say "look I am right they are bad haha". That seems weird considering they are JETS fans first. I get where you coming from, it seems like people are taking glee in the Jets struggles even though they are Jets fans.
Every time the Jets are bad, fans come out of the woodwork to pat themselves on the back. That said, this was an absolutely atrocious performance. There should be a press conference.
Who's personally attacking? He sucked on the field. A lot of people don't want to see him play any more. Nothing personal about that.
Hey if people are going to spend several hours of free time to watch the games be it in person or on tv, and countless other hours looking forward to doing so, I think it affords you the right to form whatever opinion you want. Sanchez looks like a fetus. I agree with most of these threads. Last week was the first time I honestly wanted almost any quarterback other than Sanchez to be playing for the Jets. This week only bolstered it. Plenty of blame to go around but he is straight puke. Very little to look forward to with him at this point.
i hate to throw ice water on your argument, but a number of us put the primary blame where it belongs. tannybum, cavanaugh, sutton, and sporano. most of all , tannybum. you cant coach what you dont have.
This thread wasn't a thread meant to feel bad for Sanchez. I don't give a fuck about Sanchez or how he feels, he still makes his money and he doesn't give a fuck about me or you or the fans. This thread was made because in times like this it solidifies why people call us, Jets fans, who to me are some of the best in the NFL, classless and clueless. I stated in my rant that he has been playing like shit.. You can't defend that, but on the other side of the coin, as mr nyjet has said, there is plenty of blame to go around. PLENTY. Does it negate the fact that Sanchez was awful? Absolutely not, but it's easy to say "he sucks" when he sucks and has no help like today and in Pittsburgh. Personally attacking him makes you feel better, fine. When a player has a bad game or a bad stretch, he deserves to be criticized and absolutely that's what fans do.. I'm as big a fan as they come, and when I'm pissed I say stupid shit. But some of these threads are a bit ridiculous.
So you're sick of the Sanchez threads so you decided to start anther one? You know it will just devolve into talking about how bad Sanchez sucks. What is classless about stating facts about your QB who is paid millions to not suck? I don't get what is "classless" about it.
