He is probably in the top three of the worst announcers, for a man who played the game as long as he has, he offers very little insight.

I love at the very end when the Jets looked like they were going to win the game he said, "Keep in mind, the Patriots are missing all these defensive players"

He makes me feel smart. I like listening to Dan Dumbeldorf. He likes the Jets a lot more than he likes the Pats. Just think, we could have been listening to Jim Nantz......

It's all about the injuries. Talib would have returned Folks FG to the endzone for a kick-six.

I thought he made some valuable insights. For example, Geno's pick six was a horrible throw but Brady's was because he and The Gronk's timing is off. Also, The Gronk missed that TD pass because the sun was in his eyes, all that white light blotted out that big brown pigskin.

I want to remind you this Patriots defense is missing Mayo, Wilfork, Kelly, and Talib. Just in case you forgot haha.

Dan said some really silly things at times and tried to explain why NE wanted the ball to start OT when it's really really obvious why they did. He called Brady Geno Smith once or twice.

The only thing that annoyed me by the announcing crew was reminding us every drive it felt that the Pats D was banged up.

Dan D (for Dumb) is an ex Buffalo Bill player. And he has put down the Jets every chance he gets. That's why he kept reminding how many players the Putz have lost, but no mention of our WR. Guess he forgot his name.

They would bring it up basically laughing about it.

Everytime something bad happened to NE they sounded cheerful. I remember one or two incomplete passes from NE where I swear i hear one of the let out a little laugh before commenting on it.

They may have talked more about NE, but it certainly wasn't anything sympathetical.

Give the guy a break. He only reminded us about 20 fuckin times. I never heard one thing about Holmes and Winslow though.

Its going to take at least an hour to get Dans face out of Grankowskis ass. That was the biggest love fest in all of my years watching games between announcer and player I have ever seen...and there have been great ones.
