My questions is simple, can Q stand up and play OLB in the 3/4. During his pro day Rex ran him through OLB drills and stated that he could not tire him out.

The reason that I ask this is, if Star's heart checks out and he is still sitting there when we pick at 9 can he solve two problems. We solve our issue at one of the OLB positions with Q and plug Star into a young dominate line. With Pouha and Devito gone can Star step in and play end sorta like Ngata with Ellis and Wilk on the line?

no, Q is a down lineman.if star was the pick,i think you would see alot more 4-3 which also solves our olb problem, d.davis can play outside in a 4-3

Couples is a dl. One of things you need to be careful of is allocating to much monet to the dl. At some point you hope to resign your guys

The Star comparisons to H. Ngata need to stop immediately.

If Q was capable of standing up regularly he would have last year. As talented as Star is we just cannot go DL for the 3rd straight year. Hopefully Star and Floyd go top 8 dropping someone that can really help us.

At this point there are 3 players I consider at 9, Jordan, Jones, Geno. If they are gone we should explore every opportunity to trade down.
