If John L Smith is not fired by Monday...something is VERY wrong w/ the administration in East Lansing.
You made the topic so now I have to say it. I'm just wondering if you MSU fans got pissed off when Illinois stuck that flag of theirs into your home soil. Seems like a rather classless scum thing to do don't you think? MSU might have learned a few things there... On another not I actually wanted MSU to win. Hey if MSU wins it makes ND look all the better. Tough loss. Hard to feel sorry for you though.
Why are you so bitter toward MSU? Many MSU fans have stated over and over again that they did not condone what was done to your field.. And w/ that said..the main reason it WAS done..is b/c ND refused to give up the traditional megaphone that is exchanged between the 2 teams after every game. Thats just as classless as what happend afterwards. W/ that said, JLS Could've at LEAST apologized for what happend, which Ron Zook quickly did after today's game. But on another note, w/ ND losing at least 13 starters after this year...a major transition period will go on...which will include some tough losses...when it happens...I will remember to be just as unkind to you as you have been to myself and other MSU fans.
Hah no. Last year when MSU beat ND they took thier flag and stuck it into ND soil. Well now MSU understood the kind of action that was today when dealing with a hard loss. It's called karma. Totally deserving. As long as it was just a few players out of the bunch doesn't change anything. And don't give me the speech about next year, because as far as I'm concerned this is "next year". For me that is. Right now. Yeah it can really make you bitter. So just take and accept it. Like I said. Karma. And as a fan your gonna have to deal with and brush me off with undestanding. So don't act like I started this. Your team did last year. If your defending MSU's actions last season perhaps you'd like to defend what Illinois did today? Hah. I have every right to be bitter. On top of that, it's rivalry.
Hah. YES!! You convieniently disregard the megaphone situation. Apparently It's ok to refuse to give up a symbol of a historical rivalry b/c your team lost an emotional game, but not to stamp a flag into an opposing teams field? That's quite the double standard you have. It takes 2 to tango...but apparently in your mind it's all about ND. Sure this year maybe your next year...but as far as I'M concerned..next year when ND goes 6-5 and loses to likes of Purdue...I'll be sure to rub it in your face.
Because I don't see a real big problem with that. What you seem to be forgetting is that this is just pay back. You haven't earned any. Boy oh boy. It would have been so easy for ND to stick that flag of theirs into your MSU soil last week on that big upset. Nah. We aren't gonna follow up on what happened last season. That being said you don't earn the right to rub anything anywhere. Just be thankfull you play a few teams with class. How about this. The next time ND does somthing classless on the field you can rub it in my face. Hey, if it's any team. Not just MSU. Hope you live for 100 years man. Good luck waiting. All of these words right now would not have happened if it was just an overtime loss last season. Not about the loss. It's the classlessness. I don't know how many ways I can say it. I'm sure you're fuming right now. Why don't you take it out on the correct team.
Wait you don't see a problem in refusing to give up a trophy which is not rightfully yours but you do see a problem with someone sticking a flag in your soil?
This topic is actually very relevant to the one I made earlier today. In case you didn't look into it though I'm posting the link here because it makes sense to: http://www.hipcast.com/export/P210e2df3bfc42b1d4f91438000c2ac92YlpxRlREYmJ1.mp3 This guy hits on some of your points in an interesting manner lol
Damn. You really are beating yourself up. All I saw were several plays while flipping back and fourth.
I am going to say that MSU should take the OC from the Pats as the replacement, do the same thing that the Jets did last year, he has MSU ties, he has been with Belichick and Saban, he's hungry, and young, the perfect replacement to turn MSU around!
