Chad was the player of the game for the Jets on offense.

Barrett was the player of the game for the Jets on defense.

Sort of agree on Barrett. Disagree on Chad.

My offensive vote goes to Jerricho Cotchery. If it weren't for his amazingly athletic play, the momentum of the game may never have changed.

Barrett's interception, likewise, was a momentum changer. But Brady threw a horrible pass into double coverage. I'll have to give more thought to this. I want to say Rhodes, but I have this vision of Corey Dillon trampling him that's stuck in my head.

    disagree and disagree

i think cocth deserves it more on O and barret had a good game with the pick but rhodes played all out, yes he missed a cuople coverages but made up for it with great play. the fumble was bigger to the game than the int.

I'll agree on Chad. Disagree on Barrett. I go with Rhodes by far.

    Disagree...with both

Coles and Cotchery were players of the game on offense

Rhodes was the defensive player of the game

I'd give my vote to Cotchery too... that catch was crazy. Provided the spark that the offense needed to get some confidence and keep fighting.

sundayjck is right. but, you could make an argument that the cotchery td was a bad play while the coles scamper was much more impressive.

either way is o.k. by the way, did anyone else notice how much better the defense played after robertson was replaced by mosley and the other nt we picked up on waivers?

Thought Chad and Barrett both played very well.

Man that's a tough one for the offense. Chad, Coles, and Cotchery did so many amazing things....

I agree about Chad. Cotch and Coles need Chad to get those catches.

Barret I disagree about. I gotta go with Kerry Rhodes.

I disagree on Chad, Coles was the player of the game on offense. Cotchery and Pennington both had great games, but Coles led that entire unit by example on several catches, highlighted by his touchdown. The way I see it Cotchery made a freak play (an excellent play, but largely luck based.) Coles absolutely embarrassed New England.

On defense I don't really think that there was a player of the game, because the whole unit sucked it up all game and cost the Jets a victory. I do think that Rhodes had a fantastic game though and I would probably name him the #1 guy on that unit last week.

I would say Cotchery because of his momentum changing play and Rhodes on Defense for both his forced fumble and his amazing jumping swat down of a wide open td.

Coles and Bryan Thomas. He had a fumble recovery and Vilma confirmed that BT blocked the FG.

I think Chad had a good game but he wasn't the MVP on offense yesterday. I gotta go with both Cotch and Coles. Both were equally important and equally impressive.

On defense, even though Rhodes was tremendous, I thought David Barrett had a very underrated game. We all saw the INT, but he was tremendous in coverage all day and did a real solid job. But I wouldn't argue at all if you wanted to give it to Rhodes.

 I can't believe you took the Namath line of infamy (your sig) and tried to take actual deep meaning from it.
