Update (3:52 p.m.): A sergeant from the Phoenix Police Department sent a summary of the events. Sapp allegedly assaulted two women working as prostitutes in a hotel room after an argument about money, according to officers at the hotel: On February 2, 2015 at 2:30 a.m. Phoenix Police officers working security at a Downtown Phoenix hotel were investigating a noise disturbance when they were contacted by a female alleging she had been assaulted. The incident was alleged to have occurred in a guest room, after meeting in the lobby while she and another female were there as escorts. During a meeting in the room, an argument ensued, allegedly over money and the altercation turned physical, spilling out into the hallway. During the investigation detectives were able to establish that an act of prostitution occurred in the room by at least one of the females. Sapp was detained and transported to Phoenix Police Headquarters. While there he was questioned and admitted involvement in the act of prostitution, but denied assaulting the females. Minor injuries consistent with a struggle, were observed by investigators on both females. Sapp was transported to the Maricopa County Jail and booked on charges of Soliciting Prostitution and two counts of assault, both misdemeanor offenses. One female was cited for one count of Prostitution and released, the second female left the scene prior to detectives arrival but was later located at a Peoria hotel. She was interviewed, and cited for a violation of the City's escort permit requirements and released. Photo: AP
First Greg Anthony, now this dumbass...This one is less shocking for some reason, but in any case perfect reason for every media outlet to cut ties with him. Hearing him on NFL network is like listening to someone vomit.
Have always hated him too. I'm not sure why the sports networks used to constantly force this guy down our throats when he was a player and then why they decided to HIRE the guy to do commentary once he retired. He may have been brash but he was never likable. _
Hell of a day in Football, Johnny Manziel goes to rehab, Sapp pimp slapping hoes. Welcome to the off-season.
The same way he went from an $82 million net worth to under a grand. If he's not broke now he will be again soon.
What I don't understand is how is it that these guys don't have certain numbers on speed dial. If you want something and need it delivered on the downlow, dial these digits, talk to a guy and make the hookup happen. "Cruising" just isn't acceptable once you get to a certain level in life. You have to take precautions if you're gonna go over to the darkside on occasion. Its not like other celeb former stars don't do the same thing but apparently they're smarter about it than some.
Well I think that's it for him on NFL network. You guys hate him but I thought he was alright. Didn't like his attitude most of the time though. Sent from my LG-LS720 using Tapatalk
This sucks, actually. I have been waiting for the day that Sheldon Richardson got the chance to embarrass Sapp on the air for being a skizz.
That's not a surprise since you have had some really dumb takes on these boards. You should take a step back.
