The whole team was bad against you guys. He's been a pleasant surprise though. Can he play D? He's more likely to get a sack than Maybin.
Fitzpatrick's done a great job with the situation he's in...including the garbage around him. (Outside of Evans and Spiller)
I don't think he was bad against the Jets. He was threading the needle on a lot of his passes. The Jets defended them well, and his WRs dropped a few. He couldn't overcome the rest of the team playing like ass. I think he's doing one hell of a job in Buffalo considering what he's working with. He is going to get a lot of garbage time stats, but he's playing pretty well before that too. He's not Peyton Manning by any means, but he is a bright spot for Buffalo.
I <3 me some Fitzy, runs well and throws well on the run. He meshes quite well with that shitty offensive line.
There won't be any OT worth drafting in the top 3 this year... they might as well wait for the second round to draft one. But the wuestion is interesting because Fitzpatrick isn't the weakest link on that team by far... Imo they should draft Luck if he declares... if not they should wait for next year.
Depending who they can get in the Top 5, they have so many issues it would be prudent to trade into the top 15, get another 2nd or 3rd and address more issues.
Spiller looks like garbage too. It's only because of the way he's being used, but he's still done close to nothing for that team.
OL isn't the problem this year. I'd expect Adrian Clayborn if he's available. The D front 7 is beyond pathetic this year in Buffalo.
