PFT continues to demonstrate the in-depth research for which it is rightly famed: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/05/02/the-biggest-roster-holes-after-the-draft-afc/ "Jets wide receiver: We expected the team to re-sign Braylon Edwards or Santonio Holmes, most likely Edwards. Now they have to sign at least one, probably two veterans. (Think Edwards and a lower cost option.) Their current No. 2 wideout is, uh, Mark Sanchez’s buddy Scotty McKnight? Patrick Turner?"
Well of course we havent been able to resign anybody yet! fucking duh the lockout... If the plan is still to resign Braylon and Holmes, then we are fine. Hell if the plan is only to bring back one (I want both!) we have a corps of Braylon/tone, J-Co, Kerley, Mcknight, Turner. Nowhere near as strong as pushing turner/mcknight off the roster for Holmes, but still solid. Especially when you factor in Keller and LT/Greene/Mcknight out of the backfield. but they are right, we have to bring back at least 1. If we fail there, I want to see a full court press on Sidney Rice...
Even if they forgot Cotchery, they were looking over the draft. They mentioned Scotty but not Kerley? Who got drafted before him?
well they said #2 wideout is partick turner. I thought that assumed J-co was the #1 since he is the only one of the big 3 under contract. I think he was going for the sensational tweet with mcknight while ignoring kerley. It again is praying on the prejudice we only drfted scotty because he and mark are friends.
Some days I get the urge to tweet a random player Mike Florio's address and a list of racist things Florio didn't actually say about said player at the bar to me last night.
