The bowl game is even an uncertainty...Breaking news reported by ESPN.

Damn this sucks...one less RB for the Jets to potentially draft.

If anything, all the injuries he has had will push him down in the draft and make him available to be drafted by the Jets.

Yea but isnt he a junior, so if hes smart he'll elect to bypass the 07 draft and boot his status during his senior year.

yeah.....he wont be comming out this year. With him and Bush staying( I would think) next year could be filled with backs.

Adrian Peterson Out For Season-- Blessing in Disguise?

Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma RB, who is literally, the truth, is most likely out for the entire season. Is it possible that he might drop in the draft because of his injury woes? If he can drop to the 10-14 range... which is a stretch... the jets would certainly have a shot at him. If thats the case... We gotta snatch him up. The guy is a the mold of what an NFL running back should be.

Clearly he has shown to be injury prone. Is he still someone that you would want to draft given his injury history?

It really sucks for him that he's out. What happened to him?.. But I don't think this would drop him as low as 10-14. As you mentioned above he is probably going to be a very good NFL running back. Plus, if he is going to drop that low I bet he stays in school another year to raise his stock back up

and by the way.. shouldnt this thread be in the NCAA or Jets forum.. u might get more responses there

    Two things....

    1. Thread made :)

    2. He can elect to stay in school next year and help boost his status for the 08 draft.

Wolfe and Lynch SHOULD be the top 2 RB's for this upcoming draft.

Wolfe? Kinda doubt that...Lynch and Irons more likely.

Wolfe's workout will be the most important workout in a while. If he runs really fast, he could sneak into the back of round one. If he runs slowly, he'll fall out of day one.

And is it certain that Bush took the medical redshirt, I kinda wanted him to just come out anyway and be a Mcgahee type pick.

Wolfe might not even get drafted on the first day.

Wolfe has the next Norwood written all over him...Hes gonna be good but I agree I guess its silly to see him make the 1st round. He could be a nice pickup in like the 3rd round though.

You didn't do anything wrong. I was agreeing with your last sentence in that post and was basically asking for a merge, which did happen.
