Adam Shefter just said the Titans are leaning toward Vince Young.

    I can't believe this.

Shefter basically said the first three picks would be like this:

    1.Texans-Reggie Bush
    2.Saints- Mario Williams
    3.Titans- Vince Young

If this would actually happen, what would the Jets do?

    Many great players still available.

Not to mention the Jets would have to give nothing up for Leinart.

The Jets would have so many options.

    -Draft Leinart?

    -Draft Ferguson?

    -Trade Down?

    Man, I can't wait for the draft.

You trade down for someone that really wants leinart, we don't need a QB this year.

Take Leinart, unless you can get a FORTUNE in return.

U gotta take Leinart. 1 year ago Leinart was the would have been #1 overall in the draft. Leinart is key.. The QB is the hardest position to fill. If they take him you need a dominant RT since that is the qbs blind spotq

I think this is a realistic possibilty. If it did play out like this it will be the easiest decision the FO makes and we will have a QB to build around..

The right tackle position also becomes increasingly important.

    Who could/would fill that void?

RobA your stupid ideas are driving me insane. If we traded AWAY from Matt Leinart, Jets fan would lose their minds...

"With their first round pick the New York Jets take Dan....cough...I mean Ken O'Brien"

We do not have a future at QB...you are the same person who said we could win the superbowl with Jay Fiedler...you have no idea what you are talking about.

We pass on Matt Leinart it is almost guaranteed we look back in 5 years and want to chop our nuts off...

We can't possibly pass on Matt Leinart.

Ryan O'Callaghan or Marcus McNeill would fill the RT need nicely.

Whichever is left at pick 35.

    I wouldn't mind a 1st round that included Leinart & Marcus McNeil..

Gotta take him, and then Mangold and later on perhaps O'Callaghan to fill the RT spot.

That would be sick. I still don't see the Titans taking Vince over Matt...I won't believe that until I hear it with my own ears at the draft...

We signed Ramsey this year. We HAVE to give him one year to see if he's the real deal or else we just wasted trading for him. If he's a bust then we draft a QB next year, but you gotta give the guy a shot at starting instead of just bringing in a new QB in the draft and having both ramsey and chad sit the season.

Do you know what we could get if we trade down? A ton of picks! Plus we don't need leinart, trade down and draft deangelo williams + a shit load of picks.

I don't think it is as far fetched as it sounds. Everything that I have heard is Floyd Reece loves Young, he does have a history of drafting talented but raw QBs.

Hey, I have NO problem with it happening...I just refuse to let myself think we have a shot at Leinart. He would fit in with our team so well...
