Adalius Thomas ???

He's still on the Patriots at this point. Not sure when they are supposed to pay his roster bonus.

 

He isn't due a bonus so Belichicken will hold onto him well into the offseason just to piss us off!

The bonus issue was raised on NFL Network last week as a reason why he won't be cut early on

 

Beliboy would trade him to Oakland for a 7 round pick before he lets us take him. This is one time where part Scott should have STFU. After all the shit he caused in NE, no way Beli lets him go where he wants so easily.

 

He scheduled to make $20mil over the next two years. No way ANYONE pays him that much so he will be hard to trade away to keep him out of Jets reach. And I doubt even if Pats keep him. He is a goner, sooner or later.

 

I highly doubt Scott's comments have affected New England's position on the matter. It's not rocket science.

He's old, is he really that big of a deal to sign?

 

He would be good as a depth player in Rex's system.

 

IMO this guy is a must....he has been in rexs system before and been very sucessful...he can act as a player coach of sorts, bring veteran leadership to our lb corps and maybe even kick gholston in the balls and get him going...we MUST get him.

Yea but im sure he could find a way to fake having balls. I mean he did fake out the entire Jets organization into thinking he could be a successful football player. The guys more sneaky than Harry Houdini.

How about adalius thomas?

 

He will help the pass rush but I don't think there is too much he can learn from Thomas that he cannot learn from Rex, Pettine, B. Thomas, or Pace.

 

I just don't see a ton of true veteran leadsership in our lb corp...I think bart scott could use it also IMO
