Contrary to many on here, I am actually very satisfied with how our first team offense looked yesterday. I rewatched it this morning. Fitz looked comfortable. Brandon Marshall is gonna be a monster for us. It is impossible to stop him on those slant routes which will pay huge dividends in the red zone. Fitz was smart with the ball and made the throws he needed to make. Ivory is a monster and runs like a freight train. And if it weren't for a dumb ass drop by Cumberland, we'd likely had 7 points. For that short amount of time, our offense made strides in the right direction
I think the biggest thing missing in the WR corp is a guy like Devin Smith. Marshall and Decker are very similar players, Kerley is that little slot guy, Owusa who knows if he'll ever play. We need that 6-0 200 lb speedster. _
Kerley was out there with the 2s and 3s. Maybe that means he's not going to be the little slot guy on sundays in the regular season
Yeah, he was one of my favorite Jets for a few years there but last year he seemed disinterested. Disappeared for games at a time. _
Well yeah but Amaro isn't my idea of an ideal TE. He's going to be a good one, no doubt but some day I'd love to get that 6-6 or 6-7 truly athletic guy like a Graham or Gronk. _
They are giving every wr on the roster an opportunity to take kerley's spot. Osuwu had it until he got dinged. Enunwa might have dropped it last night.
Thats' what Fitz does. Watch his 4 years of tape in Buffalo. He throws well 3/4 of the time. It's the 1/4 of the time that completely f***s a game up. And they always happen at the worst possible time. That being said, I do think he's the best QB on the roster. But watch, he is frustrating as all fug. And remember how Rex shut him down time after time after time after time when he was in Buffalo? The only reason buffalo scored at all in those games is because Stevie Johnson had Revis' number for some reason.
When the current first choice QB was on the field we scored points. Thats a good enough start for me.
