I guess he's in an altered state. I always liked him as an actor but supposedly he was for crap in the relationship department. Anyway, RIP. https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/13/us/william-hurt-actor-death/index.html
Sad that he died from a preventable disease. Prostrate cancer has an extremely high rate of not being terminal.
For sure. It's a truism that men are far more likely to ignore symptoms of anything. How crazy is it that he was in that film 'The Doctor' about a prominent surgeon who has no compassion and has a garbage bedside manner and then gets throat cancer and sees the other side of the coin. Twilight Zone music.
He was a tremendous actor. Had bad parts come his way in the latter part of his career but the early career was glorious. My favorite role for him was Arkady Renko. It's a shame The Polar Star and Red Square were never made into movies because he'd have been able to take the character in a completely different direction that showed off all of his talents. Martin Cruz Smith had the misfortune of writing a brilliant trilogy about life under the Soviet system just as the system fell and made his work irrelevant. Red Square was actually about the events leading up to the fall but the big producers just didn't see the profits in making movies about a page of history that had just turned.
Okay boys, get your PSA checked annually when you turn 50. Find a good urologist that you like because he/she will want to get intimate with you (DRE). I lost my virginity last year.
Kiss of the Spiderwoman Body Heat Altered States Accidental Tourist that’s just off the top of my head. Major probs to a great artist.
