NFL Network's Adam Shefter reports John Abraham visited with the Seahawks Tuesday.
It's not exactly clear how he'd fit in Seattle, as Bryce Fisher and Grant Wistrom are currently entrenched as starters. Fisher or Wistrom could possibly be cut if the 'Hawks did indeed acquire the star defensive end.

    31st overall pick? 2nd round in 2007? Deal !!!

I dunno I want a little more than the 31st pick. Seattle is also still the best team in the NFC so that 2nd rounder next year is probably going to be a very late one. Maybe I'd change mind if it was for this and next years first rounders which is very wishful thinking. Nice avatar though.

I like this deal over any Washington deal because we at least get to pick who we want in return through the draft!

I was hoping no one would notice

I tried replacing the 10 with an 11, but it still comes up 10. I gave up after 20 or so tries....

i think we can get a little higher than the #31 pick in the draft for abe i would rather go higher than get a 2nd round pick also

John Abraham - DL - Jets

Talks appear "serious" between the Seahawks and Jets after John Abraham's visit to Seattle.
It's hard to know what to believe concerning Abraham. Either his agent or the Jets have floated a lot of situations being "serious" or "close" in order to finally spur a deal. Mar. 16 - 9:05 am et

geez with fischer and abraham that would be scary.....

think abe for only the #31 is not such a great deal - remember seattle picks at the bottom. so if there is another pick involved the jets need to demand no less than 3rd.

got to have a sweetner with this either this year or next year.

but at this point - ship his ass out west and to the NFC

mangold could be in play at #31

    another boring jet offseason

Abe is worth the number 15 pick overall, or better. But he's franchised, so if he gets signed we can match or take 31, this year, and probably about 15 next year.
