I don't think so. He had 10 sacks last season. He's one of the better power rushers in the NFL when healthy.

I hope he ends up out of the conference if he decides to keep playing. I've heard that he wants to retire.

His play is definitely going to fall off at some point because he's in his 30s and he's constantly injured - I think he's got another season left in the tank.

    this was my reasoning.

    he's also a 4-3 end....

oh wait....didn't the Pats switch a 4-3 this offseason?

    Schobel would play for us.

I know, I know, I don't want to be that guy, but Schobel's "retirement" is a total case of "holy fuck I hate playing for losers." He'd bite at the opportunity to do something meaningful with his professional career.

I wouldn't mind taking him, Lord knows we need help for our front 7 especially now after losing Merling, Fergie, and Edds

Is he even built for the 3-4?

    He should retire.

Not for the past two seasons.

In 2008 and 2009 he had one sack combined.

LOL I just mentioned that load of shit because every asshole Jets fan that wanted Brick to fail mentions that stupid ass thing. It is every fucking time the Jets play the Bills, we have to see that sheer stupidity, quoted ad-infinitum and it fucking pisses me off.....

lol kidding about the pissing off thing but it is just fucking stupid........He had a great game Brick his first season and that was it. He is basically a non factor when he is playing RE. Of course, when he gets rotated around and was against Faneca or whomever, he might of had a sack or two.

I figured the sarcasm was dripping off of that enough...........

It probably was, but I posted that one about 30 minutes after walking in through my front door so my perception is probably off at this point.

We should pick him up. Decent situational pass rusher.

You can never have too many pass rushers. Just ask the 07 Giants.

Agreed, we should get 54 pass rushers.
