Yup, I got home tonight, turned on the game mid-2nd period. Saw AR with big smile. Keep in-mind, I've been against the trade & compensation, but I kept thinking, this is great. He looks like a kid getting his first taste of big-city life, & NY-area fans in full frenzy-mode. All this is gonna energize the ol' geezer, once he gets over the culture shock. .
Dude is having himself a grand old time. Really hoping he’s at the Knicks game tomorrow. The energy will be insane.
There’s another picture posted by the Jets with some other people in it that I don’t recognize. In terms of players it was him, Lazard and Breece Hall.
A lot of Jets coaches and players live in Madison, NJ. My town. I hope Rodgers lives here too. It would be cool to bump into him at town. Still can't believe we have him. Surreal but nice.
It’s a Win win for me tonight . Half my family loves NYRs and the other NJ Devils I want to see a tight game tonight maybe overtime Both teams deserve to advance imo ..with years between championships
I feel like the Jets fortunes over the next couple years are going to be most impacted by two things. 1) How "into it" Rodgers really is. 2) If the old guy can avoid "the hit" like Matt Milano put on White last year. If he gets lucky and doesn't get broken in half we're in good shape. The second is more or less up to fate. The first one is all inside Rodgers and little things like this are actually making things look pretty positive on that front. I think he may actually legitimately be excited and motivated.
Isles fan here. I hope game 7 goes like game 5. But Igor is capable of being a brick wall in net. Plus, the Rangers have experience in games like this and the Devils don't. I think it's going to be a great game. OT wouldn't surprise me. LOL at the Bruins. Just goes to show that regular season success doesn't mean shit.
Sauce and Rodgers in the house at the Garden tonight for Knicks/Heat game 2. So if we lose this one I'm blaming Rodgers and not myself.
