Not surprising either. Almost all Jet games on TV sound weak in comparison to some of the great home field advantages.

Rodgers keeps saying all this shit (no pressure from our d, the crowd is quiet)....yet....he couldn't throw a TD to save his life.

I thought all the other home games this year had great crowds. I would imagine that it being halloween weekend probably meant more people than usual sold their tickets so it wasn't the normal crowd.

I don't think he's talking shit tho, doesn't seem like anything he's saying is that far off base.

I was freezing at that game. Maybe because it was the first cold game. I have been to some nasty games but for some reason I was really cold. That could have been why we were so out of it.

Happens often. I'm always in my seat for kick off as are the people that sit around me. My section is pretty good about this.

they asked him a question about the crowd noise, he gave an honest assessment ... what the hell does that have to do with him throwing TDs?

Same. I'm often late but usually loud. Now I'm about 50 miles further from the action than past years, too.

Sounds like it's time for Rex to make another phone call.

he assessed our Defense too...saying that he barely felt pressure from our pass rush.

    Yet....he did nothing special.

I assumed Rodgers was taking a shot at our crowd noise (or lack thereof, according to him).....so I was saying that if the crowd noise was so quiet...why didn't he use that to his advantage and put up some points.

    any more questions?

It’s probably the combination of it being a 1 o'clock game and Halloween. It was definitely a quiet crowd. I got the sense that everyone in our section was recovering from a really bad hangover.

We got Houston next up at home, that should be a fairly loud game. Then the Bengals for Thanksgiving night, i suspect the people that actually show up for that one will be all liquored up and loud, but the stadium will more than likely be a quarter empty. Then Miami, that's always lively. Then we have the Bills to close out the season. That could be a loud game depending on what we’re playing for.

    I noticed that.

    so annoying....and pathetic.

if you want noise, watch a kansas city chiefs home game. holy cow.

we need to be like that (minus the meth amphetamines and inbreeding)

People in NY/NJ have other things going in their life to be excited about. In KC a football game is about as good as it gets.

Lets not forget our offense was busy scoring no points, which kind of leads to a desultory crowd.

I tell you what, I picked the perfect week to sub Rodgers for Orton in my fantasy lineup... that paid out big for me.
