Jets' could really use this guy . He would be better than anyone now available. He also {IMO} would be a good stop gap QB, until Jets' find there franchise QB. He has a big arm, but sometimes makes some faulty decisions; which can be modified with better coaching.

    Aaron Brooks? Come on now.

Maybe as our #3 Quarterback in 2009.

Matt is cute....But he sucks. :breakdance: Enough of weak armed Qb's thank you....Vince Young maybe or even Cutler. I personally like the qb from Georgia....D.J. Schockley...

Agreed...Jets' should stay away from drafting a Qb in 1st round.

    Aaron Brooks & a good running game & a good defense = playoffs {payoffs}:jets:

Im going to try and be respectful in my opinion but your seriously must know nothing about football if you think Matt Leinart sucks. He has an average arm but an extroadinary knowledge capacity. He may be the highest rated QB prospect since Peyton Manning

D.J. Shockley is a 4th round pick at best. :rofl2: . Everyone who rips Matt just looks at armstrength and pays little to no attention to things such as decision making and look at the style of offense the QB played in college.

Aaron Brooks is a warm body to put in at QB, and nothing more. He's a guy that you can put in, and who will win you half as many games as he loses for you. If you know you aren't going to compete, and QB is a position that you plan on addressing QB next year, he'd be a good signing. Especially if you want a high draft pick.

As for Shockley, I'd have no problem drafting him as a WR, but not a QB. And I laugh at anyone who says Leinart sucks. He's proven himself time and time again.

only get brooks if we can get him cheap, otherwise, dont waste the money, he did shit last season, absolutly nothing, and by the way, the jets arent going to get lienart unless they trade up for the saints pick, why would the saints keep their #2 overall pick if they just signed brees, they're obviouslly going to trade down to a team like oakland or someone who needs a qb, they have alot of holes to fill so thats a great way to do it, and then the titans will take young and we'll be wehre we were to begin with

I'm nowhere near a child, and I know a thing or two about the game.

I completely agree with him. If you prefer Shockley to Leinart, then I must assume you don't get many calls from scouting recruiters. I watch lot of UGA football, too. I like Shockley, but not as an NFL QB. I would LOVE to have Leinart as the Jets QB.
