to just start a thread for the video....but I should warn..its starts out ok...but it ends in a vent.

No urgency....same offense 5 straight weeks...and while I want to strangle Lafleur his good buddy who stuck his neck out for him needs to take responsibility too for allowing this bull. Not saying Zach doesnt shoulder some but he is trusting these coaches to get a game plan to help him.

Ty guys for viewing and I hope you know how much I appreciate it. If you get a few seconds...please subscribe..its the last thing I need to start taking to the next level.

Thanks for posting it Jay. Not in the mood to watch any football related videos today. Done with NFL for the day.

Watching USA Men's soccer team against Panama and USA is laying an egg so far and pissing me off.

I will watch your video tomorrow and comment.

    Good stuff jay.

I can live with losing this year, just can’t take the regression, same old not working offense. Horrible 3rddown defense etc….

Its the excuses that are beginning to wear me down. Whose idea was it to go "all rookie" this season again?

    Hey type!
Yeah....I just responded to a post on the channel with the same point you are making. We go into this thing knowing about the youth..hell we are reminded daily....we are also reminded as a fanbase, we are not very tolerant.

Try to really digest both of those things...and as fans, what this base has had to put up with.

So, responding to CMAN right below you too, you decide to go rookie with the staff too from head to toe and we are to sit here and watch almost 5 first half's offense that are so uninspiring. Bullshit.

And the defense is now 0-3 needing a stop late to get the ball back or put it away. Panthers, Titans, Falcons. I make at least 3 videos reminding ME to be patient. And only the Jets can make that friggin impossible.

Not sure if you saw the whole video but that wide receiver screen pass...man I forgot the circumstances...RUN OFF A PLAY ACTION PASS. I have never ever seen that before...never....like the play action will pull the DB away from his
receiver lined up wide left. Horrible.

But ty again sir. Great to see you!!

And amazingly CMAN I was ok with it...I mean, we weren't winning any Super Bowls this year. And maybe Lafleur will end up being a very good O.C.

What I feel I am watching now is some scribbled flag football patterns. With many of the completions made 10 to 20 yards downfield. When you win like last week, it makes everyone just grovel at our young QB. It
displays his potential much faster...as it does our O.C.'S potential.

The problem with that is its a needle in a haystack approach thinking a rookie can pull off this game plan each and every week and not have a backup plan to rein him in with runs and quick outlets.

Its as if Lafleur realized early that Zach would have time and the line might hold up today and he just made the kid make some tough plays all day long.

What really kills me is the press conferences afterwards on how the kid needs to be more boring. Another words, these long plays...use the safe more.

I dont know sir....looks like he will have enough breakout games to give this a roll one more year...and I hope BUT HIGHLY DOUBT, that Saleh has the balls to really examine if this is the proper fit
    for this kid.

Definetly! Some of these calls, decisions… just boggling.

I definitely agree… the whole perpetual rebuild thing is getting tiring. It’s just constant, rinse and repeat. This is the wrong fan base to sell it to, no matter how relevant it is.
I was, and still am all for starting Zach. But , how in the he’ll they didn’t bring in a vet back up, beyond me. That mentoring could be so valuable. I know Mccown didn’t exactly light it up his whole career, but I’m sure having him on the sidelines was a huge help regardless.

I can only give you one like bud but I wish I could do more...and man oh man you just hit on something that so many of us have just shooed away.

The Jets do something so UnJet like...they hire a guy who is respected around the league in a way that for a team drafting a young QB, you have to pinch yourself.

Knapp is hired...and not only is he hired...he actually begins to build a relationship with ZACH. Now read that twice so its really sets in. The guy goes for a ride on his bike and he is tragically taken down.
Wife...family....kids...and a mentor to Zach. Its a horrible story. His passing brings so many from the NFL out to say who and what this guy was. Sad sad story.

So, what do the Jets do? I mean, Zach must be a bit thrown by all of this too right? His first teacher..the guy that will be by his side every game...every practice...is gone.

The Jets wait about 30 days and bring in.......Cavanaugh. ?. Excuse me? To do exactly what Knapp was going to do??? Its never said that he is the replacement...and I guess its never said because
CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG..PLEASE...DO YOU EVER SEE THE GUY? When Zach threw his 4th interception of that game....or how about his first....did anyone see him????

THIS is so Jets...and I can not believe Saleh didnt give this more thought. I can only conclude that Lafleur said he will not be in the box...and he has it all covered.

Its not like they hired one of the top ball boys in the NFL and he passed away...it was Zachs guy..his guy.

Great rant! Thanks for sharing and spewing.

Zach has humility. He can learn.

Lafleur and Saleh's lack of humility concerns me. All this talk about boring. Stop talking to your young QB through the f*cking media.

Your job is to maximize the talent through a system. Not force your talent to match your system. Let Mosely audible. He's smarter than you. And stop f*cking with Mims and Becton ... publicly ... because they're 2 of your most talented players.

I was also concerned about JFM disappearing. His first taste of financial security and he disappears against a weak OL. That's suspect.

Lol..wow...we have a lot in common RS...skeptical bastard sir...lol....the JFM analysis is something I walk around with in my head...but you sir...lol.

Lets give him another week but he has been put on notice damn it. Man...humility. Not sure if you have watched any of my videos but I have one that is totally dedicated to humility concerning Lafleur....great point.
This boring talk...or my favorite is "we have to take responsibility...coaches...we are not doing a good enough job of explaining ourselves". Huh? So its just what your saying and perhaps the players being a little slow?
    Humility...I agree with you totally.

Cheers, Jaywayne12. Please share your rant on humility here (or rscherwin at yahoo)

JFM ... I hear ya. Game analysis screamed that the big mismatch was our DL versus their OL. And after DOMINATING the Titans we lay a goose egg against the Falcons? Either the Falcons found their wheaties or something was missing in the Jet DL's mental/emotional makeup. 2 non physical changes occurred to the Jets DL last week .... (a) the media inflated the DL's ego or (b) JFM got paid. Praying it's the former.

Humility ... never heard you before this, but delighted to rant with you on this topic. . By day I'm an exec who's paid to lead and address root causes. By Sunday, I'm a raving lunatic who needs a Jet SB so I can finally retire from caring about sports. Put that together and I see Saleh and Lafleur's lack of humility as a potentially derailing root cause behavior.

Lafleur's risk is a young OC whose success is married to his system. Kind of like Mangini who traded away Vilma who didn't fit his 3-4 system. When Lafleur is publicly calling out Becton and Mims - 2 who don't fit his system - we're in trouble.

Unfortunately, Saleh's risk is greater. He's the one who hired Lafleur. His personal friend. His personal friend who offers little more than a system and whose highly regarded (by Saleh), yet unproven neural network. Someone who's never called a game before. Someone who Saleh trusts, though Saleh has ZERO offensive coaching experience. Their plan to hire Knapp is what gives me hope. Conversely, hearing the media adopt this "play boring Zach" narrative, I see an OC and HC this is sacrificing long term trust with the QB. And while we're at it ... WTF is this BS that Saleh won't let CJ Mosely audible??!? What? Every successful organization in the world understands that delegating authority, with proper governance, to the front line is the only way to thrive in an evolving landscape.

I pray that Saleh is doing the right things in private. If not, I pray Douglas sees this. Because Zach, with good coaching, has a HOF ceiling. With bad coaching, he's just another QB we've destroyed.

Speaking of people under-performing in their management job, I give you Matt Cavanagh. His job performance is easy to evaluate--does the 1 man you are coaching appear to be getting better?

Why the fuck is he still here--really, why was he ever here in the first place given his Sanchez resume.

Because Saleh, as a young HC with zero offensive experience, hired a friend, who has zero OC experience.

They have no where else to turn.

(except to a veteran QB. Why they don't have a backup is beyond me. It's the only truly bad personnel decision in Joe Douglas' tenure)

I'm one of the guys who doesn't think we needed a vet back-up beyond what we have with Josh Johnson. A decent QB coach could be an effective mentor although inactive.

The fact is Cavanagh is ineffective. He should be released and another person be given the shot.

Ok boss....I am going to do something for you because we are very much in agreement...the rant on Lafleur and humility. I am going to go to my videos later and just cut the Lafleur part on humility. I think you might enjoy this. I did :).
What you are saying about Saleh and the Lafleur friendship is what the video basically covers. Will post it here in afternoon.

I really may be missing it...but is he even on the sidelines? I just haven't seen it but it could be me.

If he isn't, is that a Lafleur thing? Like...I got it...I'm down here anyway. But its not the same...that is not what Knapp would have been doing...Cavanagh? How the hell did the settle on him after originally having Knapp?
