It's needs to be said: are all three of these guys on the roster by Wednesday, and if so, who's spots are they taking? I don't see how this can't be an option considering the injury to Pace, the injury to Jenks and the lack of WRs without Santonio. Thoughts?

Coles I can see def. being on the roster. Thomas and Douglass not so much. Our front 7 was great today

Coles was needed...Brad Smith is quite simply not a WR and never has been. It's laughable they even use him there.

I think Clowney will be back instead of Coles.

If Jenkins is done again for the season, I see A Thomas. We are paper thin at the Line and we need to give JT & BT a break and NOT put Gholston in as an OLB.

    Coles & Thomas def.

edit: Ropati is dun as well and if we lose Devito or Bo we will hve 10 men playing D

Well if Jenkins is out for the year we have another spot that might go towards Douglas or a lineman.

Really? I thought he was out for 3 or 4 weeks of the regular season. Anyways, the front 7 was good.

I hope. The need for a Thonas type would drop dramatically. Front 7 played good, but without Jenkins we need some kind of help. Pace would be some kind of warrior to come back from a broken foot in less than month.

If Jenks is done, I could see Douglas for sure. Coles maybe.. can't see Thomas at all really, anymore.

its not about making a difference tonight, its about replacing Jenks and getting a legit number 3 WR for a few weeks

No, but we all know why Coles and Thomas aren't here ($$$) and if, and I'm hoping it's just an if, Jenkins has the same injury our need for a big DL guy goes up, and he definitely knows the system, and the guys next to him, which isa big plus. Like said, I hope it's an if, a big IF.

Did everyone get that? Three guys that 32 out of 32 teams didn't think were important enough to play week 1 were the reason we lost. Next!

yeah, sure. I'm just saying it's definitely realistic that the Jets will look into picking up one, two or maybe all 3 of these guys if need be. Their contracts are game-by-game now and they could certainly be options for this team if guys like Pace and Jenks are out. We'll need depth certainly if he's out. I hate to say it at the cost of a guy like Woodhead, but Coles is definitely an option, considering the offense's putrid performance.

With Jenks out, defense is going to get a HUGE look. If we cannot get a starting calibre NT in a trade this week then I'd bet we see Gilbert signed to the active roster.

As for Coles, I don't think he'll cost Woodhead a job. Coles doesn't play ST and Woodhead doesn't see the field on offense.
