I just want to extend a thank you to the pitchers from the New York Yankees for their performace in this 4 game series with the Blue Jays. The eight home runs and three wins for Toronto were very enjoyable to watch. I have to say I look forward to the next series with the Yankees so I can watch the Jays do it all again!

True, but who wants to see the Blue Jays in the playoffs instead of the Yankees or Red Sox? For that I say they are done.
I just this stat: Did You Know? In 11 starts for the Yankees since May 15, Shawn Chacon, Aaron Small, Kris Wilson and Sidney Ponson have combined to go 0-5 with an 11.51 ERA. How sweet it is. Who's next up from the scrap heap?
Honestly, perhaps the Yankees should look into bringing back John Lieber. I'm sure Philly would part ways. He's not much more than Steve Trachsel these days, but at least you know what to expect. -X-
