Sorry for another Pennington thread, but............. Last season I ordered a Penny Poster from allposters.com http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/PF/PF_826356_999.jpg as I was VERY excited for the new season and the start. I love the Turbine in the background. Anyway, the poster did not arrive until after the season started, penny was playing very poorly, and then got hurt again. Depressed about the Penny and season going down hill I never took the poster out of the cardboard roll it came in, until today. I just put it up on my wall and all I can say is I hope he can make a comeback. Do you guys remember the hope he gave us when Tesy went down? I want nothing more than for him to be productive and successful with us this year. Ill tell ya I thought Id be too sad when I looked at the poster on my wall (one of the reasons I didnt put it up) but turns out every time I look at I get excited over all the possibilities for us this season and the hope Penny will make it back and rip it up on the field. Its been slow around here just wanted to share my story. :beer:

Your probably right, thats how I felt last year when he was playin like crap the first few games. Im just sick of seeing all these negative threads everytime I jump on here (which is at least 100 times a day) He may surprise everyone yet
I sure hope you are right. I don't have all that much faith left in him, and that isn't saying much since i still have faith that we WILL WIN THE SUUPERBOWL this year.:beer:

I had it hanging on my wall (same one) and ripped it down after his injury. Dunno where it is now, don't really care either.
I like the backdeop since I used to work on turbofans . Chad who knows ??? Hopefully hell be stronger this time around !

There is nothing wrong with hoping Chad will be back. Chad's attitude is good, but that always seems to be the case. From here on in, it is all about "Show Me!"
There is no doubt from a mental standpoint he will be back. What is concerning me more is from the physical standpoint, how good can his throwing arm be after 2 tears? You know he has lost some strength, it's just not physically possible to be the same after an injury, and he has had 2 =(
haha i love penny, i only doubt him just as someone whos played football and have had injuries of various degrees of severity i dont question his work ethic, if anyone can do it its him. but its just not something i expect. i have the same exact poster man.............i have an old curtis martin poster and one with just the jets logo, the pennington one is still in the roll lol. i was getting ready to put it up then he got injured. think i will put it up anyways just cuz i'll never forget him. best of luck to him, funny tho cuz ive thought about this plenty of times and to see someone talk about it is just funny.
