I would LOVE to see someone buy the Jets from the Johnsons, but as ignorant as they are, they'd have to be really low functioning to give up the printing press of money that is an NFL franchise. I don't really care about how good an owner is at making money. I want a guy who knows how to set up an organization correctly; I want a guy who knows how to look for the right people to hire. I want a guy who knows how to delegate. That last one is huge; the Johnsons are not involved enough to know what the fuck is going on, but involved enough that their meddling fucks everything up. It doesn't matter who the owner is, as long as they can just hire a good head of football operations who then hires the head coach and then lets them do their job. This bullshit where both the GM and head coach report directly to the team owner is a nightmare.
