he could be a fine slot reciever i think it was a dumb move cutting him i really dont think NY needs him though, we have a lot of recievers right now, we need a playmaker i think the Chiefs could use someone like him with potential ...i actually think this was the best career move for charles, haha, its like getting dumped by the ugly girl you dont have the heart to break up with yourself anyone want him? not want him?
i honestly think if the price was good....which it should be....he would be a good risk-reward signing.....good skills....great size....good hands.... justs needs to learn to work hard, and stay on the field.... i wouldnt mind if NY picked him up.....
Every time he gets hit something breaks. Scapula, fibula, if it's got an ula in it he's going to break it.
He is a guy I think we should look at. I don;t know howm uch money he wioll want but they guy is young, and how often do you get the chance to pick up an above average WR off waivers? I think he'd improve the receiving core and if we can add a couple "name " players to the offense, maybe it will open up the running game a little. Plus, he is pretty big isnt he?
It's been 3 years I think......if he hasn't shown any potential since leaving school why the hell should we bring him in?
First off, with the ridiculous group of WR's they have, they should have interest in any available WR. They are desperate for a good WR, just shows just how ridiculously stupid some sounded overatting Cotchery, who if he was looked upon as a starting caliber player, the Jets wouldn't be burning up the phones to make a deal. Rogers could be a nice find.
Rogers has been nursing injuries since game 5 of the 2003 season. He had an eye-popping rookie camp and pre-season, and came out the shoot fast. If there's bad blood in Detroit, it's well deserved. Detroit spent it's next 2 first round picks on Roy Williams and Mike Williams. It's got to be tough to stay motivated and train hard when you see what a horrible organization you're playing for. Like Barlow, I think this would be a high upside, minimal downside pickup. If things don't work out you just cut the guy at any point with no cap hit.
Headcase and brittle as hell. I mean, if he's cheap, sure, you take a shot at him. But pretty much every team says that. There's a reason he was cut in his 4th season...
That's just lovely. I love watching somebody get embarrassed like that, I hope people give him all kinds of shit for it
1) he IS cheap. average of $1 million per over the next 4 years, with no signing bonus. 2) The reason is bacause he wasn't able to stay healthy, and he didn't like being a Lion. Who would?
i think if you can get the no. 2 overall from 3 years back, when he only got a chance on the Lions, you take it he wont be too expensive, and he has a VERY high upside (yes, i know, hes brittle, that seems to be the word of the day)
It'd be an upgrade over McCariens and if he got hurt, we will have cotchery and dwight which isnt bad depth...
