I don't know how many people noticed this but I really liked the fact that Mangini called the TO to try to ice the kicker. It just goes to show everyone that he is prepared to treat every preseason practice and game like its the real thing. He seemd to say to everyone that I expect the players to play and prepare like its a real game, and I will set that example by starting that myself. He could have done the easy thing and just let the play go ( i think there was like 0:02 in the half) but he decided to set an example for himself, the players and the Coaching staff to follow. That my friends is leadership by example. I really liked that little gesture. Other things. (all of these stats are by my count, pretty close but I may be off official by a couple but you can get the idea.) 1- Kellen looked good and had major presence in the face of pressure. Some flutterballs but overall looked real good. 2- Defense had 5 hits and no sacks (the one was negated by a Penalty) on the falcons QB, and not enough pressure. 3- Run D was Ok in spots, but still gave up 4 gains of 10+ yds, 4 gains of 3-6 yds and 10 gains of 1-3 yds. Only 3 tackles for losses . 4- First team D and mostly secondary looked bad, front 7 got ok Pressure, but the Secondary looked real out of Sync. 5- TJ/LEON. Can't Wait for the Real Thing
