    Even as a Yankee hater it's sad to see but the WCBS Chopper has some amazing photos of the demolition of Yankee stadium. There are also some Jets Stadium and Red Bull Arena pics as well but the Yankee ones really stand out.

    Thanks for posting that Rich. It really feels like I'm losing a little piece of myself seeing those images. At the very least it's like watching a dear childhood friend waste away in front of my eyes.

    After they took out every seat, blade of grass, teaspoonful of dirt and whatever else they could get there was little left to demolish.

    I don't take Harlem River Drive often (especially now that I'm going to school outside of NYC), so when I looked across the river to see the old Stadium gray and silent the other morning it was pretty jarring for me.

    The new Stadium is great and the team had a perfect first season there, but it will never be the same.

    Kinda makes ya feel a little down :sad: Wish it could of maybe stayed up for history purposes
