This can be interpreted as a good and bad thing: Good: TGG has become so popular that people join it just for the heck of it. BAd: Some people find it amusing to just clog up membership on this board. Sorry you had to go through all that petro.
Don't know if he ties into a SQL server. If he did, he could do a query and then just write the SQL to delete those in the database who are inactive. Not difficult.

I'm sure there was some sort of time criteria at all. I'm sure people who registered yesterday but didn't post were not deleted.
Speed is a function of the server processing speed, bandwidth, and how the overriding database was designed - indexes replicated close to the database paging criteria, etc.
It looks like people who registered in the last few days are gone. Or at least, many are not showing up on the members list.
