this is in no way a hand picked mock, this is a computer generated mock and in my opinion way to good to be true......

    http://www.askthecommish.com/2006nfldraft/auto_draft.asp

    the first four picks are,

    1 HOU D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT 6''6", 312 VIRGINIA
2 NO AJ Hawk OLB 6''1", 243 OHIO STATE
3 TEN Matt Leinart QB 6''4", 224 USC
4 NYJ *Reggie Bush RB 6''0" , TD USC

which automatically means this is the best scenario in the smallest realm of possibility for the jets. Unfortunately in reality if Bush fell to #2 the saints would get a massive offer from some one to move up and take bush.

anyway the jets poicks are as follows.

4 NYJ *Reggie Bush RB 6''0" , TD USC

    29 NYJ Max Jean-Gillies OG 6''4" , TD GEORGIA

35 NYJ Marcus McNeill OT 6''7", 332 AUBURN

    71 NYJ Daniel Bullocks S 6''0", 205 NEBRASKA

97 NYJ Spencer Havner OLB 6''4" , TD UCLA

103 NYJ Brodie Croyle QB 6''2", 204 ALABAMA

117 NYJ Maurice Stovall WR 6''4", 236 NOTRE DAME

138 NYJ Gerald Anderson DT 6''2" , TD GEORGIA

216 NYJ Terrence Whitehead RB 5''9", 225 OREGON

The only pick i really didn't like was the pick of Whitehead in rd. 7 and the Gerald Anderson pick in rd. 5.

if we were to have taken Kevin Boothe in rd. 5 instead of anderson and to take a flyer on a marquesse Haggans, or a Ryan LaCasse or maybe even Marcus Vick, instead of another Rb who would just be cut anyways....
other than that it would be a dream draft...

I'm not a big fan of Bush as this amazing super back, but Reggie Bush would be alright if we got McNeill and Jean-Gilles. The Bullocks pick really isn't that great and by then we should be addressing the front 7, but the first 2 rounds are a dream situation for our offense. I don't like it as much as others because it fails to address the D but atleast we have our Marshall Faulk now.

There is no way that Reggie Bush ever falls to #4, so don't get too excited. This was just done on biggest needs...Texans-OT, Saints-OLB, Titans-QB and then we need a RB so Bush for us. Not going to happen though.

IF Reggie Bush falls to number 4 and we pick him I will be doing back flips at my Jet Draft Party but I dont think it will happen. But you never know. I just hope we stay where we are at and get as many BPA as we can and just build baby, just build.
