This draft is assuming that the Bucs trade their 1st and 3rd from this year

    Top 9

    1- KC- Luke Jockel OT
    2- JAC- Geno Smith QB
    3- OAK- Sharrif Floyd DT
    4- PHI- Star Lotulelei DT
    5- DET- Eric Fischer OT
    6- CLE- Dee Milliner CB
    7- ARI- Dion Milliner OLB
    8- BUF- Ezekiel Ansah OLB

If the draft falls this way the Jets would have an option of both top guards, Lane Johnson, Mingo, Jones,, or Austin as the players of best value at #9. I think Mingo is nothing more then an over rated athlete. A guard won’t win you a championship and regardless of talent level aren’t worth a top ten pick. In fact last year 6 of the 11 top guards were on teams under .500. I personally like Howard and would like to see him get another chance which rules out Johnson. Lastly, Jones is a bit to much of a risk with his neck and lack of athleticism. Thus Austin is the best value pick left if the Jets can’t trade back

#9- Tavon Austin WR- Setting up the offensive to allow a drafted QB next year to step right in. Austin is a play maker the Jets desperately need, next year when Holmes can be off loaded more easily the Jets WR to be Hill, Kerly, and Austin (not bad) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_Iab2H4WD8)

#13- Kenny Vaccaro FS- Personally I’m not a huge fan of Vaccaro but he’s a natural FS which the Jets desperately need. He’s fills a huge need and is a very good cover guy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0W2vFYz-1pE)

Jets 2nd – Zach Ertz TE- big complete TE who with Austin will vastly improve the offense and will help establish a offense for the QB we’ll draft next year to replace Sanchez (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OPC5Iy-NJo)

Jets 3rd- Barett Jones T/G/C- Smart, versatile, tough, experienced, and solid. Personally I’d prefer him over Warmack because of his versatility, intelligence and leadership plus getting him in the 3rd is amazing

Bucs 3rd – Cornelius Washington OLB- Don’t let his lack of production fool you Georgia screwed this poor kid to inflate Jones’ stats. He is a superb athlete and a legit football player (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmHbN0o2zp0)

Jets 4th- Tyrann Mathieu FS/CB- I don’t care about his past he’d be a beast in the slot for Rex and if he messes up it’s only a 4th round pick (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-U7_hzArz2w)

5th trade to saints for Chris Ivory RB

6th- Nico Johnson ILB- Great run defender but blows in pass coverage, solid complement to Demario Davis and a replica/replacement of Scott

7th- William Campbell NT/DE- Jets have shown a lot of interest in him and I’m cool with it. HE can play 3-4 DE and NT. He’s big (6’4 305) and was heavily recruited out of high school but never produced however he showed flashes as a senior (10 tackles against Ohio St)
