To be honest, the Tyson Jackson pick makes little sense to me.

Why not? He fits the system, we need a DE soon and the Value is there.

Tyson Jackson is not a good value at 17. IMO, a reach for the Jets at their current draft spot. Trade down in to late Rd 1 and TJ is in his draft range.

At this point, we definitely shouldn't look at Tyson Jackson. If we really had a need for DE, it would be reasonable, but we really don't.

    I'd be fine with Byrd.

I want nothing to do with Massaquoi whatsoever. Do some research on his scouting reports before you peg him as a 3rd rounder.

IMO Canfield, Phillips and Clemons will all be gone before we pick.

    Sorry, not a fan whatsoever...

i dont really like any of those picks, Tyson is so overrated its ridiculous Kenyon does the same things he can do and is a marginal upgrade.Jairus Byrd i dont really know much about him but i would prefer butler in the 2nd.Mass is a great athlete not so much of a wr.

Jairus Byrd is going to be the best CB from this rookie class...IF he lands in a Cover 2 scheme.

However he doesn't have the speed to stick with guys in man coverage like our scheme so I would pass.

chris clemons is going way higher than the 7th round...and yeah, I don't like any of these pics. If none of hte top CB's are left in the second round, maybe BYRD. Tyson Jackson...great player, would fit our system well, but to many other needs to take him first, and the value just isn't there at 17...At Defensive End, I want more of a pass rusher like Maybin or E.Brown.
