Uh, why do we want #4 again? No garuntees that Mcfadden will be at 4, we give up things for something we don't need. Stay at #6 and take Golston he is a guy we need. If anything, we should be moving down, NOT up.
I hate rooting for my Jets to lose, but if ever there was a day, it was today I am right that a 3-13 record would have sewn up the 2nd pick, right? I really think the 'phins will take Dorsey. . . DMac will go next. My dreams of a Razorback being an impact player for the Jets may never come true (ha ha ha).
Absolute slam dunk deal, good call. We already heard rumors that the Chiefs might want to package Coles and CP for their first rounder. With the 4th pick, that's too little value. A swap for picks with Pennington is a perfect fit, and the most value we could possibly hope for. Gives us a damn good shot at the guy we want (a guy whom either KC or Oakland are guaranteed to pick up, Chris Long). PULL THE TRIGGER, TANGINI!
What about something like Coles +Chad for their first rounder? Is that fair? Or Coles+Chad + a second rounder?
The ability to accurately project possible trades, particularly of draft picks, and their effect on a team, is in inverse proportion to the amount of Madden and rotisserie football that the projector engages in or has engaged in.
Coles, Chad and a 09 second should definetely be enough to trade straight up with that 1st round pick. 2 proven players to add to 2 need areas and with the draft being filled with plenty of ot talent they can choose an tackle later with their 2nd.
KC desperately needs a QB. If they don't draft one at #4 they will be looking to get one in a trade or look at who may get cut. There is a possibility of a deal but it would probably take more then just Pennington and the #6. The thing is that it is apparent that the Jets desperately need a QB too.
Thats where Pennington will go, if anywhere. Pennington, for a Swap of firsts, and ATL's second rounder. You might have to throw in Vilma for ATL's fourth rounder to make that work... (Draft Value Chart..)
