Its 50 years since the signing, but coming up on 46 years since the Super Bowl. Hence the name 46 & counting!!! IIRC, didn't the Cards send his rights to the Giants after the Jets made their play, in an attempt to get him into the NFL fold?
Congrats on your patience my friend. 46 years ago? I guess we both had a nice adolescence. Let's hope 2015 marks the beginning of some major changes in how the Team is run. Our owner now has 2 advisors as his brain trust who know what they are doing. This bodes well even if he makes final decision because it will be from some very good candidates.

Too bad I was born in '89 and missed the entire fucking dynasty........ And yeah there are only two organizations in pro sports more fucked than the NY Jets and they are the Oakland Raiders and Edmonton Oilers. Glad the beer is strong up here.
