Along with several other positive metrics encompassing the Jets first 6 weeks of the season is their domination of 4th quarters. In six 4th quarters of football the Jets have outscored their opposition by the count of 68 to 20. Including in those six 4th quarters are 4 shutout 4th quarters by the Jets to date. That's all for now...carry on.
Nasty Defense. Running Game Solid Coaching add half decent or better QB play and that's a fukin formula right there.
It will be winter soon so all those high flying pass centric offenses will have to adapt or get crushed. This is when smashmouth football comes into its own.
Which would you prefer: 4th QTR: 2 min warning: Jets have 2 point lead, other team has the ball -or- Other team has 10 point lead, Jets have the ball
Robert Saleh - Head Coach New York Jets: Just keep giving them body blow after body blow after body blow and just keep hitting them,” Just keep hitting them in the mouth. O-line just keep pushing and leaning on them. Sauce Gardner And we felt like if we could just keep taking them down the deep water, they'll find out they can't swim.
People on this board were complaining about rotations on the D line earlier in the year. Are they still rotating as much? If so, that could definitely lead to tired o linemen and d line domination late in games.
The rotation actually lessened a bit after the Steelers game I believe. Q/JFM/Lawson all saw their usage increase vs the Dolphins and Packers.

4th quarter numbers have been great. The Jets certainly haven't been known as finishers. Keep it going.
To be honest the Browns game was kinda flukey... ... but the way we closed out the last three wins has been awesome. During the Packers game I was on my patio hootin' & hollerin' like a lunatic... and I haven't done that during a Jets game since 2010...
Just re-watched the 4th qrtr, against the Packers.... We closed it out with running & by NOT going into a prevent defense. And don't forget this was a game that was seen by the majority of the country... what a great showing. We are rolling hard...
Jets X Factor talks about MLF, how he setup the Packers throughout the game. A similar video to the one from last week how MLF set up the phins for the big pass to Hall.
