49ers vote to build new stadium in Santa Clara

    I don't know much about California geography but it looks to me like Santa Clara is part of San Jose. Seems to be a little bit odd to me, but I guess not really any more odd than two New York teams playing in New Jersey... or for the NJ Nets to move to Brooklyn.

    Anyway sounds like this was the best case scenario the team had, I heard if this fell through they'd need to consider building a new stadium to share with the Raiders. Yikes.

    It's actually a pretty awesome location and will draw in huge crowds. A great move by the 49ers to get away from that dump in San Francisco.

    Not in this stadium, according to Adam Schein.

    Congrats to the 49ers. Well deserved. Candlestick or whatever the hell it's called is such a shit hole. Only 4 more years to play in that place before one of the NFL's top organizations lands a premier stadium.

    A premiere stadium in the middle of where a majority of their fans reside. It's a win/win.

    Good way to sell seat is with TOM BRADY....You heard it here. Tom Brady will be a 49er. From California, and New England wont cough up the dough. He instantly makes that team a contender
