Why oh why are the Jets this inept Another WASTED season. Another year of my football life gone. All for nothing. First world problems
"I've seen them play over the summer.. Josh is my QB" - Todd Bowles = "There's only women and children in the settlement, no braves around "- Custer scout.
With today's loss the Jets move up from 11th to 7th in the draft order, not counting late games. http://www.tankathon.com/nfl
This First I am decades older than most of you and want to win a SB as much as anyone else.. Obviously continuing to hire outside Vets: Fitz McGown the Kurt Cousins yahoos IS NOT WORKING Plus you have a Coach who over two seasons CANT COACH PLAYERS TO STOP MAKING PENALTIES..in short BOwles really suxs IMO we do what LA Phil Chi and Houston (before Watkins got hurt) are doing and that is using future picks to draft a blue chip player at QB Second Mac tell s the Johnsons putting Bowles on equal status witha GM WAS A VERY STUPid DECISION (lol well maybe he doesnt use those words exactly} Bowles HAS NO ACCOUNTABILITY ...he gets the guys ready but he doesnt worry because the GM is more buddy than Boss I dont care anymore ..we just need to tank out and thats whats happening
Chin up..ive been around since 1968 ..think how I feel???? AHAHAHA Its NOT wasted if the GM wheels and deals us one of the Cali kids come draft time...you just need to stomach 5 more losses We are not playoff bound..lets face it with this QB, Coach, and some players..but the future looks bright if we get a FQB
Petty is like a fragile wet cat, if recent history dictates who he likely is, and hell, I can't say I've ever heard a team source saying someone couldnt hit the ocean before. But after seeing hack and still seeing mcgown, if I'm a head coach hoping to keep my job I'm going old guy. Unfortunately bowles is doing exactly that, not realizing he's playing checkers. Starting either of afore mentioned children, would have been a built in excuse to keep his job, and could always fall back on the Wiley veteran if shit went bad. Which it would have. But nope, live for the now. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
I don't hate anyone, but I strongly dislike Josh McCown and Todd Bowles. Both born losers. This was supposed to be a TANK season, but the truth is with proper coaching and QB play they should be around (8-3) right now. Not even joking. Crazy.
Is it really the coaching or is it the execution and the head scratching plays from the players? How many games have the Jets lost this year due to stupid mistakes on the football field? Just innate bad mistakes. A backwards pass almost lost us the Jags game. Each and every week you see these types of plays. Coaching to me is fine, could be better, but the mistakes holy crap they have killed the Jets all season long. This team has been in contention in terms of winning games. Said it before, hard for a young team to win games. Bowles has to make the change soon, because while McCown puts up #s as he's having a career year, he routinely makes plays to lose us games.
At least you've seen them win it all in your lifetime. The rest of us are basically Cubs fans at this point, they'll win one eventually, but will we live to see it? A Cubs fan in 1945 surely would've thought yes. Logically, things should be looking up, we have decent young talent, GM seems competent even if I can't say the same for the coaching. Can't keep failing forever...but its been decades now, and nearly every time I've felt a little hope about this team, they've made me feel like a sucker and a jackass.
the fact that you equate cousins with fitz and mccown re-enforces my point that you are the worst poster on this board bar none
Jets are in a weird spot because McCown isn't the problem per se but he's not really the solution either. We aren't going to the playoffs this year but he earned the starting spot and unless we're mathematically eliminated from PO contention, I can't see Bowles going to Petty or Hack. Bowles is coaching for his job and we have lost our last 5 of 6 if i'm not mistaken. A bad loss versus a mediocre Bucs team after Jets had an extended layoff because of Thursday night football. And a bad, meltdown 4th quarter loss after a bye week. The way I see it, Bowles won't be going to the young guns anytime soon, if at all.
