    1-KC-Joeckel
    2-Jags-Floyd-They take the safe pick
    3-Oak-Lotuleile
    4-Phil-Smith-I think Smith is going 2, 3 or 4
5-Det-Fisher-They may take a DL or Milliner but they need a LT
6-Clev-Milliner-If Milliner is not there, I think they will take Austin
7-Arz-Johnson-I believe they get a QB in round 2
8-Buff-Nassib-It's a reach but they won't wait until round 2
9-Jets-Jordan-Hopefully it falls this way. If not Jordan, Patterson and Austin will be in play.

If Geno Smith falls to the 9th pick, would the jets draft him?

Doutful, with so many other needs Idzik could wait a year to get a better QB in Rd one.

Idzik isn't in any pressure to win now, and drafting a QB with the 1st pick, especially in this weak class, isn't a smart move.

That saying, I still expect Idzik to sign another vet QB, on the cheap, or at least draft a QB in the mid rounds to add more competition.

So pass on the most productive defensive player, from the SEC runner up (UGA) for potential, doubt Jones, who is my second choice in this draft, over Jones? Isn't this how we drafted Gholston?

I doubt Jordan is around at 9.

    1. Chiefs- Luke Joeckel- Franchise LT
    2. Jaguars- Barkevious Mingo- pass rusher they lack
    3. Raiders- Shariff Floyd- start of building up that D-Line
    4. Eagles- Dion Jordan- transitioning to the 3-4 with Barwin and Jordan would be a helluva start
    5. Lions- Eric Fisher- protect Stafford
    6. Browns- Dee Milliner- 2 stud corners with that front 7
    7. Cardinals- Lane Johnson- rebuilding the O-line is 1st priority
    8. Bills- Jarvis Jones- pass rusher off the edge opposite Mario Williams
    9. Jets- Geno Smith- Franchise Quarterback

lmao, I could see Mingo being the Bruce Irvin in their defense for Gus Bradley

I'd say Ansah has a better chance at that spot than Mingo.

I think Mingo can be the Irvin of this draft being drafted by someone like the Dolphins over someone like Moore (instead of, lets say getting drafted in the 20s where i think he belongs because of his potential factor) but top 5-7 is out of the question for me.

I'd be surprised if the Eagles took Smith and even moreso if Nassib went higher than Barkley. Barkley's pro day this week will mean a lot for the Jets. There's a good chance if he has a good showing he could go in the top 8 pushing someone down.

Hopefully that's the Bills taking a chance on a QB, knocking down a potential OLB like Jones or Jordan that they could have taken.

Gholston was 3rd in the country in sacks for the #1 team in the country for most of his last year in college. The idea that Gholston was simply a workout warrior has always been way overblow. Guy was a physical freak who was also very productive in college. His problem was he had no pass rushing moves and no desire to actually play.
